A drawing and guessing game you play with your phones

Doodler is a Pictionary-style game where your phone is the sketchpad. Your drawing appears on the TV stroke by stroke while everyone types guesses. It's free, and it works over a video call too.

How to play Doodler

Open Doodler on any TV or laptop with a web browser. Everyone joins at hangtime.games/play on their phone with the four-letter code. Then:

  1. On your turn, pick an easy, medium or hard word and draw it on your phone. No letters or numbers!
  2. Everyone else types guesses. The first correct guess ends the turn.
  3. Each turn starts worth 100. Hints reveal letters as the clock runs down, and each one shrinks the prize: 100, then 75, 50 and 25.
  4. The first correct guesser gets the prize, and so does the artist. Draw fast and clear!
  5. After each turn, everyone can tap ♥ to love the drawing for +10 to the artist, even if nobody guessed it.

Who it's for

Good for

Mixed-age groups, family nights and friends who swear they can't draw (that's the fun part). Kid mode swaps typing for big multiple-choice guesses, so younger players can join in.

Playing apart

Doodler has a remote mode: the whole game runs on everyone's phone, so it works as a drawing game for Zoom, FaceTime or any video call. No screen sharing needed.

Free for everyone, with no account. Players join at hangtime.games/play with the room code.
