A fill-in-the-blank card game you play online
Best Answer Wins is the party card game where you fill in the blank with the funniest card in your hand. If your group likes Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity, you'll know what to do in about ten seconds. Your hand stays on your phone, the prompt goes on the TV.
How to play Best Answer Wins
Open Best Answer Wins on any TV or laptop with a web browser. Everyone joins at hangtime.games/play on their phone with the four-letter code. Then:
- Each round, a prompt with a blank appears on the TV. Pick the answer card from your phone that makes it funniest. Two blanks? Pick two, in order.
- You get 3 blank cards per game to write your own answer.
- Rotating judge: one player sits out and picks the winner. Or everyone votes: all players vote, but not for themselves.
- Answers stay anonymous until the reveal, so the judge can't play favorites.
- First to the target score wins.

Good for
Parties and game nights where people want to laugh more than think. Family mode is on by default, so it works with kids and parents at the table. The grown-up After Dark cards only appear if the host turns them on.
Playing apart
Best Answer Wins plays remotely too: everyone's hand and the prompt show on their own phone, so it works over a video call.

Is this Cards Against Humanity?
No. Best Answer Wins is Hangtime's own fill-in-the-blank card game. It plays the way those games do, with a family-friendly default deck and an optional After Dark deck for adults. It isn't affiliated with Cards Against Humanity or Apples to Apples.
Is it family-friendly?
By default, yes. Family mode is on unless the host turns on the After Dark cards, which are for adults only.
Can we play it online?
Yes. Pick Best Answer Wins under "Can't all be in one room?" at hangtime.games/play and share the code. Everyone plays from their own phone over any video call.
How many people can play?
3 to 10 players.
