Drawful vs Doodler: which drawing game should you play?
Drawful is brilliant at what it does: the drawings are terrible on purpose and the fake titles are where the laughs come from. But it's really a bluffing game with drawings in it. If what you want is a straight Pictionary-style race, that's Doodler.
How Doodler plays
On your turn you pick an easy, medium or hard word and draw it on your phone, no letters or numbers allowed. The drawing appears on the TV stroke by stroke. Everyone else types guesses, and the first correct one ends the turn. Turns start at 100 points, hints reveal letters as time runs down, and the prize drops with each hint. The artist scores the same as the guesser, so it pays to draw clearly. After each turn people can heart a drawing for bonus points, even a hopeless one.
